Three Planes and a Cab

After 24 hours of traveling we have finally made it to our first hotel in Madrid, the Catalonya Gran Via, which is in the heart of Madrid, close to all the best restaurants, shopping, and museums (Prado specifically!). Unfortunately, it is all closed because it is 6 pm here (11 am Kansas City time...yes that means we pulled an all-nighter) and restaurants don't open for dinner until 8. O well! Time to sleep-we'll put up pictures tomorrow from our travel adventures!
