Tres dias en Madrid

We have been busy over the past three days. The first day was a bit of a difficult day. After traveling all day and night we arrived in Madrid. After getting a long rest we awoke Wednesday ready to start exploring the city. We took the bus tour of Madrid to gather some understanding of the city. The bus tour took us around to all of the major landmarks of the city. We ended the night with a meal in the hotel restaurant with veal and lamb. Still recovering from the long travels, today we continued the bus tour to see more of the city. It took us to the Real Madrid Futbol Stadium in the morning. After lunch we ventured over to Plaza Mayor to have churros con chocolate, Sangria, and a Cervesa (beer). After a long snack we walked to Puerta del Sol to explore the shopping areas. The city is becoming easy to navigate as we managed to walk back to our hotel from the Puerta. We are finally getting adjusted to the time difference. Tomorrow we are headed to the famous Prado Museum.

I hope you are having fun and will adjust to the time change soon. Tim, are you taking time to sketch some of the architecture?

    Have fun!
